Not long after the EU closed qualifier teams were revealed, DreamHack posted their North American invites to the tournament in Quebec.
There will be $100,000 on the line at the Canadian DreamHack, and one team from the North American closed qualifier will be there to fight for their share of the pot.
A sixteen team bracket, eight from the open qualifier and eight invited directly to the closed qualifier, will play a best-of-three single elimination bracket on Sunday. From that bracket, one champion will earn a ticket to DreamHack Open Montreal.
With teams like North, CLG, Cloud9, and Immortals already invited, and the NA & EU closed qualifier teams revealed, there will be just two invites out of the eight team roster left for the tournament organizer to reveal ahead of the event, which will take place on September 8-10. The North American closed qualifier teams are:
