Only one slot is now up for grabs in the European Spring Showdown following NKT's qualification.
NKT won MESA Nomadic Masters Spring to qualify for BLAST Premier Spring Showdown Europe, leaving three local teams in the dust at the qualifier in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, which was preceded by an online stage.
D13 and IHC, the two highest-ranked teams at the four team LAN event, met in the single-elimination bracket's semi-finals, with the latter coming out on top 2-0.
The other semifinal pitted NKT and The Shine, which also ended up 2-0, with Hyun-Pyo "XigN" Lee and company putting on a strong performance as they did not allow their rivals to reach double digits on either Mirage or Nuke.
The grand final against IHC was no different, with the team led by Anthony "ImpressioN" Lim also taking the best-of-three series in two maps, although this time with 16-12 scorelines on both their map pick of Mirage and Inferno.
NKT will now travel to Europe to take part in the cut throat BLAST Premier Spring Showdown Europe bracket, which will be played online featuring teams of the caliber of HEROIC, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Astralis on April 27-May 1, with one spot at the BLAST Premier Spring Finals up for grabs.
Seven of the eight teams that will play the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown Europe are now known, with only the FantasyExpo EU Champions qualifier left to be resolved on Sunday, March 27, with the likes of fnatic, ENCE, Sprout and HEET in contention.
